The Medi-Alarm is a sophisticated emergency signalling product which provides peace of mind and independence for the elderly or infirm. The Medi-Alarm has a high speed digital dialler that reports to a central station in contact ID format. Used with most Ness radio transmitters such as, Medi-Alarm pendant transmitter, Medi-Alarm inactivity PIR, Ness mini radio reed switch or other Ness radio devices. Supplied with plug pack, dialler, battery backup and one waterproof pendant transmitter. Additional pendant transmitters can be added at any time.

Wireless Pendants - Medi-Alarm is activated by simply pressing the button on a wireless pendant transmitter which can be worn on a chain around the neck, on a key ring or on the wrist using the wristwatch strap. The pendant transmitter is rugged and fully waterproof to allow the user complete freedom of movement. Medi-Alarm can be used with 8 pendant transmitters, each with a unique user ID when reporting to the monitoring station. The pendant transmitters use a long life lithium battery for many years of reliable service.

Inactivity Monitor - The inactivity monitor is a powerful feature commonly used by people living alone. Wireless PIRs or Wireless reed switches are used to monitor the user's normal movement throughout the house. If movement ceases for a pre-programmed interval, Medi-Alarm will sound a warning and then dial the monitoring station.

Pill Reminder - Medi-Alarm can be programmed to remind the user to take medication at preset intervals, up to 255 hours.
